Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening teams of volunteers, supported by staff, provide food and drink for local people in real need. Generally we get around 40 or so men and women coming along. Very few are actually rough sleepers, many are in local hostels or sofa surfing, but some regulars are simply very poor and struggling to make ends meet. They seem to come along as much for the community as for the tea or soup.
We are grateful to Pret a Manger for the supply of unused sandwiches each day.
