There are many questions which we often get asked when we go anywhere to talk about the work of FAITH.
Hopefully most of your questions can be answered somewhere here or on our parent site www.fcg.org.uk
Without doubt working with or for FAITH is not easy.
Our clients are demanding and have needs way beyond the average man or woman.
We require our volunteers to be trained so that they are better equipped to serve our guests who can be difficult, act aggressively and use quite explicit language etc.
We have only very rarely actually had a violent incident at a “soup Run”, probably because we are providing an appreciated service and because our guests “self-police” for their mutual benefit.
Most of our guests are not actually genuinely street homeless, many are in hostels, some are simply older single men who appreciate the social element of the soup runs.
